“Trying hard” is great, but if support providers have a stronger understanding of autism and the use of applied strategies when working in the field, they can do a better job. Our goal is to improve the level of expertise among those providing care in the community and to encourage confidence when working with unique individuals with autism.

The Applied Autism Training Program will provide: four hours of lecture-formatted learning including a Q&A (where you are invited to provide questions in advance or on-site) and two hours of supported hands-on training with feedback. The first two sessions will elaborate on strategies and practical tactics for different ages, developmental levels and situations. These will be practiced during the hands-on session. Volunteer participants of various ages with ASD will be invited to participate.

The program cost is $60 (includes all three sessions.)
